Problem-based learning:
is a both a pedagogical approach and a curriculum design methodology simultaneously develops higher order thinking and disciplinary knowledge bases and skills places students in the active role of problem solvers (practitioners) and confronts students with a real-world situation (ill-structured problem) (PROBLARC 2000)	Your needs and interests will vary depending on your role in the PBL process. If you are designing and developing new courses that utilise PBL then choose the developer's section at the top of the page--likewise for Students and Coaches. Newsletter We publish a regular e-newsletter that contains tips and tricks as well as the latest PBL news at CQU and around the world.
